From petri dish to dinner plate: This is the world’s first 3D-printed, cultivated fish fillet

The next frontier in food seems to be drawing inspiration from the final frontier. A “Star Trek“-like, food-on-demand 3D printer has just served up a real, cultivated fish fillet for the first time.

Steakholder Foods, a startup based in Israel, produced the 3D-printed cut of grouper – “a significant milestone in the food industry,” says Arik Kaufman, CEO of Steakholder Foods. Read the full article on CNN
